1. Design and Architectural Field Limitation
All content hosted on this Website—including hand-drawn project concepts, case studies, time-lapse construction photography, and text commentary—reflects the personal design experience of Jeff Doubét. Design by Doubet LLC is not a licensed architecture firm or a structural engineering entity.
- The visual resources shared here are intended exclusively for aesthetic inspiration and general design entertainment.
- This site does not provide formal, site-specific building plans or structural contracting blueprints.
2. Aesthetic Variation and Craftsmanship Results
Our design portfolios showcase real Santa Barbara and Montecito structural transformations, many of which evolved from humble beginnings through the grit, determination, and manual expertise of independent artisan tradespeople.
- Because structural code tolerances, property setbacks, climate variables, and individual craftsperson skill levels differ across every job site, we guarantee no specific aesthetic or structural result if you attempt to replicate a design element or finish seen on this blog.
3. Material Performance Disclaimer
Throughout our portfolios and artisan construction breakdowns, we highlight specialized finishes, including exterior stucco plaster coats, clay pipe vents, terra cotta tiles, and coved ceiling assemblies. Design by Doubet LLC makes no representations or structural performance guarantees regarding the durability, weatherproofing, or moisture resistance of these materials on your specific property. You are explicitly mandated to consult with locally licensed general contractors and structural engineers to verify that any material choice fits your regional code requirements.
4. Compensation, Sponsorship, and Affiliate Disclosures
This Website contains clear avenues of monetization. We use Google AdSense to serve programmatic advertisements to our visitors, and Design by Doubet LLC is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by linking directly to Amazon properties. If you click on a product recommendation link on our “Store + More” page and make a purchase, or interact with advertisements served on our site, we earn a micro-commission or advertising fee at zero extra cost to you. Any product statistic, manufacturer quote, or product performance claim displayed on this site should be independently verified directly with the provider or primary source. Any sponsored text or paid insertion will be explicitly labeled as such.
5. Accuracy, Errors, and “As-Is” Warranties
While we have made every human attempt to ensure that the photographic design details and insights captured on our site are accurate, Design by Doubet LLC is not responsible for any typographical errors, layout omissions, or the real-world results obtained from utilizing this data. All portfolio assets are provided completely “as is” and “as available” with no guarantee of historical completeness, accuracy, timeliness, or structural security, and without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Under no circumstances will Design by Doubet LLC be held liable to you or any third party for any construction choices made or financial actions taken in reliance on our content.
6. Representation
Any views or opinions represented on the Website are personal and belong solely to Creating Spanish Style Homes and do not represent those of people, institutions or organizations that Creating Spanish Style Homes may or may not be (or have been) associated with in professional or personal capacity unless explicitly stated.
